Tender Harvest Home Aid was founded by Amy Merriam, a Kamloops care aide with 20 years of experience supporting people at home.
Amy has spent two decades caring for people in their homes — supporting seniors, families, and individuals who need an extra hand to live well and independently where they are most comfortable.
Her experience includes caring for her own mother through illness, supervising a student residence in Whitehorse, Yukon — looking after young people, meals, and the running of a home — and years of hands-on work as a care aide here in Kamloops.
Amy started Tender Harvest Home Aid to offer something she believes families are looking for: unhurried, personal care from someone who knows you — your routines, your preferences, and how you like your tea.
Amy personally meets every new client, sets up each care plan, and checks in as care continues, so the support always fits the person receiving it.
